Art professor and artist Oscar Reutersvärd came to fame quite late as an artist. He was early to adopt the abstract design language, and it is said that he was denied admission to the Academy of Fine Arts as his submitted works were non-figurative. He studied art in Paris for Fernand Léger. Otte Sköld and Otto G. Carlsund are also mentioned as some important teachers.
The images shown in this exhibition are based on the research Reutersvärd conducted in Egyptian visual art and its connection to Egyptian fairy tales. At the art gallery, the Protest from Paris and Lina exhibition was shown at the same time. In May 1973, Reutersvärd also participated in the exhibition konstruktivt at Södertälje konsthall.
