During the winter of 1970 to the spring of 1971, the exhibition “8 textile workers” was shown at the art gallery. They wanted to show where the new Swedish textile art stands today. “The techniques vary from the old tried and tested to new surprising ones where materials and color bring out a new intention in image creation.”. Six of the eight in the group returned later in the 1971 summer exhibition “30 Textiles”, which landed in 33 participants.
