Computer games have long been in the corner of culture, but as the gaming medium has become an established form of entertainment, we have also been able to see a change in the cultural value of games. Not least thanks to a younger generation of creators and artists who were inspired by the cultural form they themselves grew up with – the computer games.

The traveling exhibition Heart Games is our tribute to the computer game culture. We have collected art from primarily Swedish and Nordic creators, but also exhibit works from selected international artists.

In Heart Games you will find paintings, illustrations, interactive art games, crafts and installations that all have a connection to the world of computer games. We want to show game art that attracts and challenges both players and a traditional art audience.
