The exhibition was much appreciated by both children and adults, with over 10,000 visits. In Totally tactile, three large interactive sculptures Hands of good (2011) Liver (2005) and Shell (1998) were shown, as well as two smaller capsules Slipper and Shell (2006). The sculptures are made of recycled and waste materials, primarily from petrochemical industrial production. Each sculpture with an opening to entice the visitor to explore its contents with the body and senses. Inside there were sounds, lights, scents and structure of different materials to feel. The sculptures are based on shapes taken from nature. Jan Niedojadlo draws inspiration for his work from Hieronymus Bosch’s apocalyptic visions. He alludes strongly to emotional notions of the subconscious, which he embodies in strange organic forms. ”

The artist himself came to the art gallery to build his creations on site. “When you crawl into one of my sculptures, you step out of the showroom. You step curiously into a strange world with subtle sounds. Once inside, I want to make you feel unique, through your own sense of wonder and the discovery of the emotions involved. ”
